About The Milagro Foundation

The Milagro Foundation is a charitable foundation that supports underrepresented and vulnerable children and youth in the areas of arts, education and health. Milagro (“Miracle”) was established by Carlos Santana and his family in 1998 to benefit children around the world. The Santanas realized they needed a foundation, a small staff, and a Board of Directors to manage the number of personal requests for help they received on a daily basis.

The foundation makes grants to organizations that work with children and youth, especially those at risk and disadvantaged due to such factors as poor health, illiteracy, or insufficient educational and cultural opportunities. Milagro has a particular focus on helping people live culturally enriched lives through arts education.

The Milagro Foundation supports children and youth in the United States as well as international global health in countries around the world touched by the music of Santana. Current focus in the United States is in supporting victims of abuse and domestic violence in the San Francisco Bay area, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas where Carlos Santana has a residency at the House of Blues.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of The Carlos Santana Coffee Company is donated to the Milagro Foundation. For more information, please visit www.milagrofoundation.org.
